Peter Cao - Manager

Peter CaoTeaching has always been my passion I've always wanted to become an academic teacher and I happened to revolved around fitness jobs. Working for the big corporate gyms for most of my adolescent years and advancing into higher positions in those types of gyms didn't feel rewarding. I wanted to find a gym that’s the perfect blend of honesty, comfort, and professionalism. Which is all found at Area Fitness.

Lara Ceroni - Indoor Cycling Instructor

Lara CeroniI have had a love of sport and fitness from a very early age. Whether it was getting involved in downhill ski racing when I was growing up, or going to 6am step classes with my mom. The pursuit of healthy living has taken on many manifestations for me: Adventure racing, duathlon and trialthon where I have competed in the 1/2 Ironman distances and loved every painful step! Indoor Cycling is what brought me here: My twin sister was a spin instructor much earlier than me and when I would go to her classes, I would think: I can do this! So, 10 years ago I went through the process and have been teaching spin ever since. Not only do I love the physical challenges indoor cycling brings, but I am so motivated to teach people to push themselves out of their comfort zones; because, if you never bring yourself to that point, how will you ever know just how far you can go? I am so inspired by the people who come to my classes: they work hard and reap all of the amazing benefits the class brings. Beyond the physical, indoor cycling is about building your mental strength and that skill is one that is transferable to so many different areas of your life. Being fit is just as much about the mind, as it is about the body.
